About the USL Y League
The USL Youth League, formerly known as the Super Y League, is a premier national platform designed to extend player development beyond the traditional soccer calendar. In collaboration with Chicago City SC, Sting FC/LTSC will provide consistent training and competitive matches throughout the summer months of June and July. The program is open to boys and girls ages U10–U19 (2017–2008), with teams U11 and older eligible to qualify for the USL Youth National Finals, held each December in Tampa, Florida.
This program is unique in that it is open to players both within and outside of the club. Athletes from other organizations may participate during the summer months with no obligation to join the club’s annual program.
When is the season and who do we play?
Sting FC/LTSC USL-Y Program will consist of two training sessions per week in Orland Park, beginning in mid-June and running through the end of July, along with 6–10 league matches. Our teams will compete against clubs from Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, and Michigan.
League matches are played both locally and at neutral-site locations hosted by the league. Neutral-site dates and locations for the summer of 2026 are below:
League matches are played both locally and at neutral-site locations hosted by the league. Neutral-site dates and locations for the summer of 2026 are below
• June 27–28 — Portage Soccer Club Complex (Portage, MI)
• July 10–12 — Waukegan Sports Park (Waukegan, IL)
• July 17–19 — Pacesetter Park (Toledo, OH)
• July 24–26 — Indiana Invaders Sports Complex (South Bend, IN)
The full summer league schedule is anticipated to be finalized and published by mid spring 2026.
Finals are REQUIRED to travel to Florida in December to compete. Failure to do so could result in large fines.
League games are organized through tournament style whereby most teams visit neutral site locations and play multiple games over that weekend. We will also schedule one-off games against geographically close to us opponents that are in the league.
We are aware that June & July are vacation months for families, so players will not get penalized for missing practices or games.
